Twice today, I got greeted by complete strangers saying "Ni-hao" as I passed by while walking with my dad. Do they think they're smart? Am I supposed to acknowledge them with a "wow! you so smart!"? 90% of the time I just want to tell them "I'm not Chinese" but then I know some of these idiots will think I don't even speak my mother tongue. . .

Nothing beats the bum who saw me walking towards him; flips over his straw hat where he was collecting money, and put it on his head and started saying "ching-chang-chong" really loud.
