Making up words...
Well, this is a blog, right?
So Joey and I were just talking nonsense, as we usually do we were are lounging around the TV and computer, with nothing better to do or say...
We decided that we would put the words 'chillin' and 'relaxin' together and make a new word: chillaxin'. You really need to emphasize the 'n' at the end, so it's like... I'm chillaxin-en.
Problem is, the more you say it, the more it sounds like a brand of laxative... "If you really need to go, Chillaxin' Yo!"
Hey, if we were actually good at coming up with jingles, we'd be doing advertizing by now.

i love that word! i'm going to start peppering that in my everyday speech...
'hey, yo, whatcha doin' later? wanna be chillaxen' at yo place or mine?'
it's a pimp-daddy-esque urban-street gangsta-ish with an EDGE of trashiness type of word. although i admit, it is good start for a new laxative brandname... implies PEACE and laxative, which the current Ex-Lax name does not. (in fact, it always reminds me of psycho ex boyfriends, which i guess isn't all that inappropriate) ;)
upon trying to sell the word at work today, people tell me it's not a "new" word, as Gravy has so graciously pointed out.
but I'm sure the laxative part is all us. :)
sell the new Brand to Ex Lax to cash out/retire
